Iraq’s Oil Exploration Company Unveils Five-Year Plan and Advanced Technology

The Oil Exploration Company (OEC) announced on Tuesday that it is equipped with cutting-edge global technology, rivaling that of leading international firms. The company also revealed its five-year plan for oil exploration and reserve assessment.

OEC General Manager Osama Raouf stated, “We are the only company in Iraq exploring oil and gas sites from north to south.” He explained that the company’s exploration efforts are guided by both a five-year and an annual plan, which measure Iraq’s oil reserves. “The larger the exploration plan, the greater the reserves we identify,” he added.

Raouf emphasized that OEC uses advanced global technology, competing with the systems of the world’s top exploration companies. He also highlighted that the company operates with a fully national workforce, underscoring the skills and capabilities of Iraqi professionals. “We do not rely on foreign experts, and our technology ensures we match the performance of leading global exploration companies,” he said.
