Iraq’s Oil Pipelines Company and Ports Authority Discuss Berth Development

Iraq’s Oil Pipelines Company held a meeting with the General Company for Iraqi Ports to discuss enhancing cooperation on developing the Ministry of Oil’s berths.

The meeting, held in Basra, was led by Ali Abdul Karim Al-Moussawi, Director General of the Pipeline Company, and Dr. Farhan Al-Fartousi, Director General of the Ports Authority.

The discussions focused on improving the loading capacity and efficiency at Khor Al-Zubair Port, particularly the rehabilitation of berths 2, 3, and 4.

Both parties emphasized the need for continued collaboration to strengthen Iraq’s oil export infrastructure and ensure a steady fuel supply to power plants.
