Iraq Launches Life Towers Project 26 Towers, 30 Floors, 157,000 sqm

Baghdad – Iraq has launched the Life Towers project in western Baghdad. The Life Towers project marks a new phase in modern housing development. Developers have started construction in the Al-Rufail district along Al-Ghazaliya Expressway.

The project covers 157,000 square meters of land. Developers plan to build 26 residential towers. Each tower will rise 30 floors above ground. As a result, the skyline of West Baghdad will change significantly.

The Life Towers project places all towers along the outer edges of the land. Therefore, planners created a large central park in the middle. This design improves privacy for residents. At the same time, it ensures open views for all apartments.

Moreover, green areas will cover 40 percent of the total space. Landscaped gardens will surround the buildings. Wide walking paths will connect different sections of the community. Consequently, residents will enjoy open spaces inside a dense urban area.

The Life Towers project focuses on integrated living. Developers included children’s playgrounds between the towers. They also added schools and a kindergarten inside the complex. Families will access education services within walking distance.

In addition, the project includes large parking areas. These facilities will reduce traffic congestion inside the compound. A shopping center will serve residents’ daily needs. A health center will provide medical support. A civil defense center will strengthen safety standards.

Furthermore, the location gives the project strategic value. The site sits near Al-Bakriya in western Baghdad. Residents will reach key districts through the Al-Ghazaliya Expressway. Therefore, connectivity remains one of the project’s strongest advantages.

Developers designed the project to meet rising housing demand in the capital. Baghdad continues to face pressure from population growth. Many families search for organized and secure housing. The Life Towers project responds to that demand directly.

Unlike traditional housing layouts, this development uses vertical expansion. Builders aim to maximize land use efficiency. At the same time, they protect open green spaces. This balance creates a modern urban lifestyle inside the city.

The Life Towers project also reflects a broader shift in Iraq’s real estate market. Investors now favor high-density communities with integrated services. Buyers look for comfort, privacy, and accessibility in one location. Therefore, large master-planned projects continue to grow.

Construction teams have already begun site preparation work. Heavy equipment operates across the land. Workers prepare foundations for the first towers. Developers expect phased construction over the coming years.

As the project moves forward, Life Towers could become one of Baghdad’s tallest residential communities. The 30-floor towers will stand out clearly across west Baghdad. Consequently, the development may set a new standard for future projects.

In conclusion, the Life Towers project introduces 26 towers, 30 floors each, across 157,000 square meters. The design dedicates 40 percent of the area to green space. With schools, healthcare, shopping, and security services, the community aims to deliver a complete lifestyle in one location.
