Iraq issued 1,867 licences for new industrial projects during 2025, demonstrating strong industrial growth and investment opportunities.
Ali Ibrahim, Director General of the General Directorate for Industrial Development, reported that these licences cover a wide variety of sectors. These include food, chemical, metal, construction, textile, and engineering industries.
