US Pushes to Resume Oil Exports from Iraqi Kurdistan

The United States is urging the Iraqi government to finalize an agreement with international oil companies (IOCs) to resume crude oil exports through the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline (ITP).

At a daily press briefing, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce emphasized the importance of reaching an agreement to reopen the ITP, ensuring that Iraqi oil can reach global markets, particularly in Europe.
