Iraq will host the first Iraq Transport Expo 2025 at the Baghdad International Fairground. The event marks a new era for Iraq’s transport and logistics industries.
Dr. Mustafa Al-Ani, Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Fairs, said the exhibition will feature over 100 companies from 20 countries. He added that Iraq Transport Expo 2025 carries the theme “Iraq Sets Out on the Path of Development.”
The event aims to connect Iraq’s growing infrastructure with international transport and logistics markets. It also supports the government’s plan to expand trade and attract investors.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Ani explained that Iraq Transport Expo will help Iraq strengthen global cooperation and enhance logistics efficiency. He noted that the exhibition encourages innovation across air, sea, and land transport.
The Ministry of Trade confirmed that the expo will include panel discussions, displays, and workshops. Experts will cover airport management, port expansion, and road development.
In addition, several companies will present modern technologies for logistics, digital tracking, and cargo handling. These solutions can reduce costs and support Iraq’s sustainable growth.
Furthermore, the Ministry said Iraq wants to become a regional trade hub between Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. This vision requires advanced transport systems and strong international partnerships.
Dr. Al-Ani concluded that Iraq Transport Expo 2025 will promote collaboration between public and private sectors. Continuous cooperation will create jobs and drive long-term development.
