Zain Iraq Telecom Growth Soars

Zain Iraq telecom growth soared this quarter due to strong customer demand and smart investments. The company saw major gains in revenue, profits, and users. These results confirm Zain’s lead in Iraq’s telecom market. The parent group, Kuwait’s Zain, praised Iraq’s contribution to regional success.

First, Zain Iraq telecom growth soared with a 13% revenue jump, reaching $286 million. This gain came from wider service coverage and rising customer demand. Importantly, tower expansion allowed better access in rural and urban areas. These efforts directly improved service quality and user satisfaction.

Next, EBITDA also climbed 13%, hitting $105 million. That shows strong cost control and better monetization of services. The EBITDA margin stood at a healthy 37%, showing efficient business operations. New product launches, especially in digital services, fueled this earnings boost.

Net income surged by 73%, rising to $26 million. That marks one of the best quarterly results for Zain Iraq. This sharp growth shows improved profit margins and better customer value. Customers embraced the new business-to-consumer and business-to-business offerings.

In addition, the customer base grew 11%, now reaching 20.7 million. Zain Iraq telecom growth soared thanks to digital innovation and improved access. More people now rely on Zain’s mobile and data services every day. Their digital arm, Oodi, also showed continued user and revenue growth.

Zain focused on reaching underserved regions through tower investments. That strategy expanded coverage and drew more users to the network. Customers responded well to new data plans, enterprise services, and mobile apps. Business users also benefited from better support and flexible solutions.

The digital operator Oodi also helped boost Zain Iraq telecom growth. It targets tech-savvy users with app-based services and strong connectivity. As mobile data use rises, Oodi’s growth helps Zain stay ahead in the digital space.

Overall, Zain Iraq’s results underline the benefits of focused investment and innovation. The company continues leading in both customer numbers and profitability. Zain’s Iraq operations play a key role in driving the group’s broader success across the region.
