Iraq’s Oil Products Distribution Company (OPDC) transported a total of 97.5 million cubic meters of fuel in January, utilizing its fleet of 1,192 trucks to deliver to all provinces across the country, the company reported on Thursday.
Hussein Abboud, OPDC’s Director General, stated that the fuel transported included both white derivatives such as gasoline, kerosene, and gas oil, as well as black derivatives like diesel, crude oil, fuel oil blends, and naphtha. The company also delivered aviation fuel, lubricants, hydraulic oils, and both liquefied and compressed gas.
Milad Rashid, head of the transport division, revealed that the average daily fuel shipments, including gas, amounted to 382, with a total of approximately 982,692 cubic meters transported daily to distribution branches. Rashid emphasized that the transport division’s specialized workforce ensures an efficient and timely delivery system for petroleum products nationwide.
