The US dollar exchange rates saw a modest increase on Sunday in both Baghdad and Erbil.
According to recent market data, the value of the dollar rose when trading resumed at the central Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 148,400 dinars for every 100 dollars. This was a slight rise from the previous day’s rate of 148,350 dinars per 100 dollars.
In Baghdad’s exchange shops, the dollar was being sold for 149,500 dinars per 100 dollars, with the buying rate standing at 147,500 dinars.
Meanwhile, in Erbil, the dollar’s selling price was recorded at 148,150 dinars per 100 dollars, and the buying rate was slightly lower at 148,000 dinars.
