On Thursday, the exchange rates of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar saw an uptick in both Baghdad and Erbil markets.
According to a survey by Shafaq News Agency, the dollar’s rate increased when the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges opened in Baghdad. The rate settled at 148,350 dinars per 100 dollars, up from 148,200 dinars on Wednesday.
In Baghdad, currency exchange shops reported a selling rate of 149,500 dinars per 100 dollars and a buying rate of 147,500 dinars. Meanwhile, in Erbil, the selling price reached 148,100 dinars per 100 dollars, with the buying rate at 148,000 dinars.
These fluctuations reflect ongoing changes in the foreign exchange market in Iraq.
