The Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX) announced on Tuesday that its trading volume for the week, spanning five sessions, totaled over 8 billion IQD (approximately $6.1 million).
The week saw a total of 3,539,643,000 shares traded, with the exchange executing 3,407 sale and purchase contracts involving listed companies.
However, despite the robust trading activity, the ISX60 index closed the week at 987.24 points, reflecting a 0.52% decrease compared to the previous week’s closing.
The ISX continues to demonstrate significant market activity, with substantial trading volumes and contracts in the midst of fluctuating index performances.
