However, June saw a decline with only about 216,000 barrels delivered. These changes highlight the flexible nature of the trade.
The Iraqi government recently allowed a higher daily export limit. Authorities raised the figure from 10,000 barrels to 15,000 barrels per day. As a result, monthly shipments increased from about 300,000 barrels to around 450,000 barrels. This step strengthened the trade flow between the two countries.
Jordan benefits greatly from these imports. The shipments provide affordable energy and reduce reliance on distant markets. For Iraq, the exports create revenue and maintain a strong trade relationship. Both nations gain from this cooperation.
