Trade between Iraq and Saudi Arabia soared to $1.3 billion in 2024, marking a significant rise compared to previous years, announced Iraq’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Safia Al-Suhail, on Friday.
In an interview, Al-Suhail emphasized the growing political, economic, and trade relations between the two nations.she noted that 34 Saudi companies have registered in Iraq, while 46 Iraqi companies are operating in Saudi Arabia, further strengthening economic ties.
Al-Suhail also revealed that Iraqi Airways will begin a weekly flight from Baghdad to Riyadh in early April. This move aims to enhance both economic and tourism connections, further solidifying the relationship between the two countries.
